Re-register Redemption.dll
- Ensure Act! and Microsoft Outlook are closed
- Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to bring up the Run dialog
- Type cmd , then press Enter
- Depending on your computer’s operating system (OS) type, type one of the following
64-bit OS: cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Act\Act for Windows
32-bit OS: cd C:\Program Files\ACT\ACT for Windows
- Press Enter
- Type regsvr32 redemption.dll , then press Enter
- When the “DllRegisterServer in redemption.dll succeeded.” message appears, click OK
Note: If you receive an error “LoadLibrary(“redemption.dll”) failed – The specified module could not be found.” when attempting step 6, skip to the Missing Redemption.dll section below
- Close the command prompt window
- Attempt to use the e-mail options in Act! to test

- From the File Attachments section of this article, download and save the Redemption.dll file and save to one of the following locations, depending on your operating system type:
64-bit OS: cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Act\Act for Windows
