Integrated Act! Marketplace
The Act! Marketplace is now accessible directly through Act! v16.1. Easily access a variety of apps that help extend the power and possibilities of Act! – including dozens of premium apps for integrated accounting, data management and reporting, plus, exclusive discounts for Business Care members.
Easily maintain your Act! add-ons, find new ones, and view your Business Care plan with the Plug-In Manager in v16.1. The Plug-In Manager can be accessed through the Tools menu in Act!.
Q. Is this a Feature Pack or a Service Pack?
This unique release is actually a Service Pack and a Feature Pack rolled into one. The release contains typical Service Pack elements such as bug fixes and product enhancements, but also enables Act! emarketing as a new feature along with Business Care exclusive benefits.
Q. Am I entitled to this release?
All Act! v16.x users are entitled to download and install this release. Customers are not required to be on Business Care, however Business Care subscribers will receive exclusive discounts on the Act! emarketing service introduced in v16.1.

Q. What versions of Act! does Act! emarketing work with?

Q. Can I continue to use a prior emarketing service from Swiftpage within Act!?
Yes. If you prefer to stay on your existing Swiftpage emarketing service you are welcome to do so, however, we encourage you to try the powerful capabilities of the new Act! emarketing service, including the new template editor and rich v16.1 integration enhancements.
Q. How do I access Act! emarketing?
Simply open Act! v16.1 or higher and click Emarketing from the left-hand navigation and get started! Or, you can choose Log On from the Emarketing menu in the top toolbar.
Q. How do I sign up for an Act! emarketing Trial?
It’s easy! Simply log in to your Act! database, click on Emarketing from the navigation bar*, and sign up for a 60-Day Free Trial. *You must have v16.1 or higher installed. For help updating your version of Act!, please click here.
Q. Can I have an active account on both Act! emarketing and a prior emarketing service from Swiftpage?
Yes. With the new Act! emarketing service, you can re-enable the previous version (Swiftpage emarketing or SEMA) Once re-enabled, both services will be available to you. Data, including templates and send history, will not be lost by enabling either service, or both services concurrently. Please note – the services are completely separate and, though they may be used concurrently, they do not share capabilities, templates or contacts.
Q. How much does Act! emarketing cost?
Full access to Act! emarketing is available for free, for 60 days, for an unlimited number of emails to 100 unique contacts via our free trial. Beyond the time or limits of the trial, our very competitive pricing is as follows:
Q. How do I get my Business Care discount?
Business Care discounts will be automatically applied in the shopping cart after proceeding through checkout process. Please refer to the Purchase Process for details and screenshots.
Q. What happens when my free trial is over?
We hope you enjoy using Act! emarketing and upgrade to a subscription that meets your needs. Upon upgrade, all of your previously created templates and send history will be available. To upgrade, simply open Act! and click Upgrade on the Emarketing view.
