Symptom: Act! does not detect an internet connection during startup.

Cause: No internet connection is detected.
Solution:
An active internet connection is required as per the System Requirements for Act!, you may need to speak to your IT regarding this:

You can click OK and the message will close and allow you to use Act! as normal, however you will need to connect to the internet again within the time period displayed within the prompt.
If you have enabled an internet connection and you are still receiving the prompt, follow the steps below:

- Click Refresh
- Close Act!, then reopen Act! to test
