- Go into text edit mode while editing an Act! emarketing template
- Select the area in the text block of the template where it is desired for the mail merge field to appear
- In the text edit ribbon, click the icon that looks like an envelope
- Select the desired merge field from the list
Note: In order to test how the mail merge fields will appear to a customer, an email campaign must be sent to a list or contact within Act!. A test email will not show you what the customer will be experiencing.
