There was issues identified in v18 when using symbols within fields/field names that can cause users to be logged out of Act!.
The issues have been resolved in Act Premium (access via web) v19.
If you are still using v18:
- Create a backup of your database. For information on creating database backups, refer to the following knowledebase article:
How to back up and restore an Act! database
- Replace any symbols with the equivalent text, this includes text in fields, field names and any dropdown lists
- Test selecting an option in a drop-down list
