Answer:
There are three processes that Act! uses to record history:
- Act.Outlook.Service.exe: This application is used for the Act! for Windows (the installed version of Act!) to attach email history to the database when using 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Outlook
- Act.Outlook64.service.exe: This is used for Act! for Windows and the Act! Premium (access via web) client to ensure that the correct Act.Outlook.service is running with respect to Outlook’s bitness (32-bit or 64-bit). This also has an added benefit of being able to log for the Act.Outlook.Service.exe
- APFW.Outlook.Service.exe: This application is used to send email history from web users that have installed the service to communicate with the web server
