In the middle of using Act!, the program seems to lock up and I cannot click anything in the program, but Windows does not show that the program is not responding.

This can be caused by a pop-up window generated by Act! being sent to the background instead of the foreground
Follow the steps below to check for any pop-up windows i.e. the Act! emarketing sign-in window:
- On your keyboard press and hold the ALT+Tab keys
- While holding the ALT key, release the Tab key
- When the list of all open windows appears, use your mouse to locate the window to bring it to the front
- Close the pop-up window
- Test using Act!
