How to Check For and Download Sage ACT! Updates
You would like to know how to check for and download Sage ACT! updates. $obsdisclaimer
This Answer explains how to manually check for a Sage ACT! update and download it. An update can contain a change to the database schema or possibly a required application fix. The database must be locked to perform the update. Users must be logged out.
Please use the following steps:
From the Help menu, click ACT! Update.
If an update is available, a message appears at the bottom right of the screen.
Click the link to begin the download.
When an update check is performed, a text file is created (located in the same directory the application is installed), which contains the output (results) of the application's update script. If you are running a schema update, and the update fails, click the link in the message to open the error text file.
