This issue can be caused by a damaged web user preferences file.
You can attempt to resolve this issue by deleting the web preferences file for the user experiencing the issue. Follow these steps:
- On the web server, browse to the location of the web user preferences files. The locate these files, please refer to the following Knowledgebase article:
Location and Contents of the Web Users Preferences
Answer ID: Location and Contents of the Web Users Preferences
- Delete the preferences file for the web user experiencing the issue.
Note: Web preferences are serialized, making it difficult to determine the user to which they are associated. You may be able to determine the specific user files by logging into the web database as the affected user, changing a setting in their web preferences, then checking the modified date on the files to see which was just changed. If this does not help determine the specific user file, you will need to delete all user preferences files listed.
- Log back into the web database for the user who was experiencing the error, and click on an activity in the calendar view to test.
