Question: What actions should I take regarding the release of Act! v19
Product:
Product Family: Act!
Product: Act! Pro, Act! Premium, Act! Premium (access via web), Act! Premium Cloud
Version: v19
Answer:
If you are an Act! Premium Cloud Offline Client user, do not upgrade the Act! software until you have been specifically notified to do so. Doing so will disable your synchronization service. You will receive communications from Swiftpage on when to expect your migration
If you are an Act! user in a workgroup environment, it is possible that you share a database with others. Do not upgrade your version of the Act! software without first discussing this with your Act! Administrator. Failure to do so may prevent you from accessing any shared databases that have not yet been upgraded to your version of Act!.
If you are an independent Act! user who administers all of your own databases and you have Administrator rights on your workstation, we invite you to upgrade your version of Act! and take advantages of its new features. Your customer data is priceless, so we highly recommend you back up your databases prior to upgrading as a precaution against data loss.
