This cause is currently unknown.
If you are using a 32-bit version of Microsoft Outlook, using msconfig to disable the faulty item at startup may resolve the issue.
- Click the Windows Start button, and then click Run.
- In the Run dialog box, enter msconfig into the Open box, and then click OK.
- Click the Startup tab.
- Clear the check box to the left of the item called "Act.Outlook64.Service" but ensure to leave the box checked for the item called "Act.Outlook.Service".
- Click Apply and then Close.
- Restart Windows to test.
