Symptom: When I send a Mail Merge from Act! Premium (access via web) the progress bar for Reading Document appears but the Merging Contact progress bar does not appear and the email does not send

Cause: This is normally due to an issue with the SMTP details. When sending a Mail Merge it should display the Reading Document progress bar followed by Merging Contact progress bar.
Solution: Follow the steps below to update your server details:

Solution: Follow the steps below to update your server details:
- In Act!, go to Tools > Preferences, click E-mail
- Under E-mail system click Configure Mail Server...
- Review the details entered in the following fields:
- My e-mail address
- SMTP Server
- Port
- Account name
- My e-mail address
- If the details appear to be blank or incorrect update them were required
- Remove the contents of the Password field and re-enter your password
- Click OK and then click OK again
- Test sending a Mail Merge
