Steps to Reproduce
Using Act! v19 and Outlook 2010, attempt to configure Outlook rules to record history for incoming messages as described in the following KB article:
How do I use Outlook® Rules to attach e-mails to Contact History in Act! versions 2009 (11.0) through v18?
Unable to select the option for Act! - Auto Attach E-mail to Act! Contact History
In order to attach and email to Act! Contact History you can use the Act! Outlook Add-in:
- Launch Microsoft Outlook and go to the email you would like to attach to a Contact
- Click the email to select it
- In the Outlook Ribbon at the top of the page click Add-ins
- Click Quick Attach
- When a prompt displays to advise the message will be attached, click OK to attach the history so that it will be visible in the History tab to the relevant contact.
