Symptom: When I click a button on the Outlook Add-in nothing happens

Cause: This can occur due to Windows permissions
Solution:
Running Outlook as administrator can resolve this issue:

Running Outlook as administrator can resolve this issue:
- Close Outlook, then navigate to the desktop
- Right-click the Outlook icon, and choose Run as administrator
- If prompted, click Allow
- Attempt click the add-in button again to test
If the above steps resolve the issue you can set Outlook to Run as administrator permanently:
- Close Outlook, then navigate to the desktop
- Right-click the Outlook icon, and choose Properties
- In the General tab, click the Advanced button and tick Run as administrator
Note: If the option to Run as administrator is not available in the Advanced option, click Cancel. If the option is greyed out in Advanced you may wish to speak to your IT regarding this.
- Click the Compatibility tab, tick the option to Run this program as an administrator
- Click Apply, then OK
- Attempt to click the add-in button to test
