Username Requirements for v21.1 onwards on Act! Cloud deployments.
For v21.1 onwards new users for Act! Growth Suite or Act! CRM with a Act! Cloud deployment will need to have a username which is a valid email address. This change is being made as Act! work to enhance our platform. New Customers For customers creating a cloud database for the first time all users created will need to be in the format of a valid email address. The administrator user created when the database is generated will automatically be in this format. For customers migrating an existing database to the Cloud current user names will be kept in their existing format. All Customers When Act! Cloud customers from v21.1 onwards make any edit to a user, including resetting a password or adjusting the security level, it will be necessary to update the username to the valid email address format. It will not be possible to save any changes to users without updating the username.
