What does "Act! is Loading your Address Book" Mean?

If you have configured Act! to integrate with Microsoft Outlook, you will have noticed a new Act! tab in Outlook. It may be the case that when you click on this tab, the icons are greyed out and you see the message "Act! is Loading your Address Book" as per the screenshot below:
The reason you will receive this message is that when you first set up the Outlook integration, Act! needs to load all of your Act! contacts into an address book in Outlook. This typically only takes a few seconds per contact, but if you have especially large data sets then this initial set up can take a while to perform. Once the address book has been loaded however, then you will not need to wait again.
Please Note: You will not be able to record email History until the address book has loaded. Please make sure to wait until all the icons are available for use before sending emails that you wish to record in the database History.
