"The Windows user account info you have entered is invalid. Please check the user name and password and try again."
This error will result if the Windows user name or password you entered does not exist in the selected Windows domain.
If you are certain that you entered the correct user name for the selected domain, you may need to create a new Windows user. Please consult your Widows network administrator for assistance.
This error will also result if the User must change the password at next logon option is enabled in the user Properties. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:
- Right-click your My Computer icon, and then click Manage from the shortcut menu. The Computer Management dialog box appears.
- Expand the Local Users and Groups item, and then click the Users folder in the left pane. A list of users appears in the right pane.
- Double-click the ACT! Premium for Web user name (Impersonation User, in most cases), the user Properties dialog box appears:
- Clear the User must change password at next logon option and it is recommended that both the User cannot change password and Password never expires options be enabled.
