This can also result from your Anti-Virus software or software Firewall blocking the ACT! and/or ACT! E-mail executables. You can workaround this issue by adding these ACT! executables to the exception list. Please consult your program documentation for details. You must add ActSage.exe and ActEmail.exe to the exception list. These files are found in the ACT! installation folder. (normally: C\Program Files\ACT\ACT for Windows)
