Symptom
You are attempting to synchronize your Act! and Google contacts and find that certain contact records fail to synchronize.

Cause:
This will occur if you have previously synchronized your Act! contacts with Google contacts, and then deleted contact records from Google. Act! maintains a record of synchronized contact records and will not attempt to synchronize the contact records deleted from Google.
Solution:
To restore synchronization of all Act! and Google contacts, please use the following steps:
IMPORTANT: This process will reset the synchronization action and any previously synchronized contacts that remain in both Act! and Google may be synchronized again, causing duplicates. After making backups of the Act! database and Google contacts, duplicate contacts should be removed from one of the programs before initiating the synchronization process again.
Note: Before resetting the synchronization, be sure to check the integration settings. Use the following article to review settings:

- Close Act! and Google
- Launch Windows Explorer
- Browse to the following location:
- Windows XP, Windows Server 2003: C:\Documents and Settings\*username*\Application Data\ACT\Act Data\Google Sync
- Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server® 2008: C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\ACT\Act Data\Google Sync
- Delete or rename all files that end with ".metadata"
- Launch Act! and test synchronization with Google
