Note: Act! Premium (access via web) users must be using Act! Premium (access via web) v18.2 or newer in order to perform these steps from a web browser. If you are using Act! Premium v18.1 or older, it is necessary to perform these steps in the main database from the installed version of the program. It is not possible to make these changes from a remote database/offline client.

Opening the Manage Process dialog
Follow the steps below for opening up the Manage Process dialog:
- In Act!, click Tools > Define Fields…
- Click Manage Processes or Manage process lists
Creating, Editing and Deleting Opportunity Processes
Creating a new Opportunity Process
- In the Manage Process dialog, click Create New Opportunity Process, or Create new Process
- Enter a name for the Opportunity Process, ensure the Active option is checked, then click Next
- In the Customize stages screen, click the Add button to add a new stage for your process
- Name the stage and assign it a probability between 0% and 100%
Note: The probability represents to how likely it is for the Opportunity to be won and is used to calculate the Weighted Total field within the Opportunity, based off of the stage chosen for that Opportunity
- Continue adding new stages as desired, assigning probabilities as appropriate
- When you’re done, click Finish to save your new Opportunity Process
Editing an existing Opportunity Process
- In the Manage Process dialog, select an existing Opportunity Process, then click Edit Opportunity Process or Edit Process
- Make changes to the Opportunity Process using the same steps you would use to name and add stages to a new Opportunity Process
- When you’re done, click Finish to save changes to the existing Opportunity Process
Deleting an Existing Opportunity Process
Note: Deleting Opportunity Processes cannot be undone.
- In the Manage Process dialog, select the desired Opportunity Process, then click Delete Opportunity Process or Delete Process
- When prompted whether you are sure, click Yes or OK to complete the deletion
