Product Family: Act!
Product: Act! Premium (access via web)
Cause: This problem may occur if the contact creation preferences have not been created for the Act! user who gets logged out.
- Open the installed version of Act! on the machine hosting the database
- Log in the affected database as the user affected by this problem
- Go to the menu Tools > Preferences
- Click the Startup tab along the top
- Click Record Creation Options...
- Click OK so the contact creation preferences are created, unless you want to customise these first.
- Click OK to exit the Preferences window
- Log in the web version as the user that you used to go through the steps above.
- Try creating a new contact
