This will occur if you sent out a mail merge, and enabled the "Return Receipt" option. This setting is saved for future mail merges.
Disable the option to request receipts in Act!

- Once you have unchecked the option test sending an email
If the issue persists it's possible that you have the option enabled in your Mail Client software for example Microsoft Outlook. For assistance with your Mail Client's settings, refer to the documentation for your mail client, or contact an IT profressional for assistance.
