Integration with a local Outlook installation
Act! provides built-in integration with local installations of Microsoft Outlook. This feature allows the recording of email history, synchronization of contact and calendar data, and various add-on functions such as creating an Act! activity or contact from an email.
Act! v20.1 supports local Outlook installations which are linked to an account under Exchange 2010 and later.
Direct integration with Microsoft Exchange
Act! v20.1 adds support for contact and calendar synchronization directly with Microsoft Exchange. This direct integration can benefit users who do not have a compatible Outlook version installed locally, or who prefer to use Outlook Web Access to view and manage their mailbox.

Act! Premium Contact Link
The Act! Premium Contact Link is available as an Office Store app exclusively to active Act! subscribers. This provides a simple way to view or create Act! activity and history records without leaving your mailbox, as well as quickly adding new contacts to Act!. Once this app is added to Exchange, it will automatically appear in both your local Outlook installation and Outlook Web Access..
The Act! Premium Contact link supports integration with Exchange 2013 and later. The Office Store and it's listed apps are not supported in earlier Exchange versions.
