Symptom: When I attempt to perform a mail merge, I receive the Error: “Unable to cast COM object of type 'Redemption.SafeMailItemClass' to interface type 'Redemption.ISafeMailItem'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with ID '{0A95BE2D-1543-46BE-AD6D-18653034BF87}' failed due to the following error: Error loading type library/DLL."

Re-register the redemption.dll file by following the steps below:
- Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to bring up the Run dialog
- In the Run dialog, type cmd, then press Enter
- In the command prompt, type one of the following, depending on your edition of Act!, then press Enter:
- Act! Pro or Act! Premium: cd C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\ACT for Windows
- Act! Premium (access via web) (server only): cd C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Web
Note: If you’re on a 32-bit computer change “Program Files (x86)” in the above paths to “Program Files”
- Act! Pro or Act! Premium: cd C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\ACT for Windows
- Once the directory path displays, type “regsvr32 redemption.dll” (without the quotes), then press Enter
- Once the RegSvr32 success dialog appears, click OK to complete the registration, then close the command prompt window
- Attempt to perform mail merge again to test
