When clearing or erasing an activity you will receive the error:
"Error retrieving the owner for the Activity: Act.Framework.Activities.ActivityManagerDB+ActivityManagerDBException:
Could not find any owner for the specified Activity at Act.Framework.Activities.ActivityManagerDB.GetActivityOwnerAsGrantor(Guid activityId)

This can occur if a user has been deleted from the Act! database but the activities scheduled with that users still exist.
Note: It is recommended that before making changes to your Act! users you make a backup of your database. Follow the steps in the article below to make a backup:

- In Act!, click on the Tools Menu and select Manage Users
- Click Create New user
- Give the new user the same name as the previously deleted user
- You should now be able to delete the problem activities
- Once all the activities are removed you can delete the user again
Note: This needs to be done by a database administrator.
