If the desired database is not listed, you can open the database by following the steps below, depending on your version of Act!:
Act! v18 and later
Act! versions 2012 through v17

- Launch Act!
- Click File > Open/Share Database
- In the Open/Share Database Dialog, select the database in the list you wish to open, then click Open Database
If the database isn’t listed
If the desired database is not listed, you can open the database by following the steps below, depending on your version of Act!:
Act! v18 and later
- Click Browse for Database…
- Browse to and select the PAD file for the desired database
- Click Open
Act! versions 2012 through v17
- Click the link for “The database I want is not listed”
- Browse to and select the PAD file for the desired database
- Click Open
